Source data

Raw data: WDFW creel ↗ Ballard Locks ↗ White River trap ↗ WDFW estimates ↗

Estimated = WDFW creel interviews × that area-season's expansion factor (×), which is WDFW's own expanded trip estimate divided by the anglers it interviewed on the same Chinook-season days. Interviews capture roughly 1 in 3 anglers. Sampled = the raw interview counts. Catch and passage include Chinook, coho and chum (pink optional). Chum counts are small because sampling winds down before the late-fall chum run, and the Ballard Locks don't count chum. Passage: Ballard Locks ladder counts (MA 10); USACE White River trap, Puyallup system (MA 11). Averages use only seasons with data. Updated .
